Lake cam is back to warm weather panning
The lake cam is back to panning to different views (usually every two minutes during daylight). It’s pointless to pan it when the lake is down as it’s all I can do to get it on some decent-looking H2O. It’s a moving target anyway; a saved pan location at one lake level could be pointing at the sky or down at the water just a few weeks later at another lake level.
Now I need to get down there and see what happened to my water temperature sensor. Hopefully, the battery’s just dead, but it’s still broadcasting a bone chilling 41 degrees to my base weather station. I was up to my waist in it yesterday moving the dock, and it ain’t that cold–gadgets!
By the way, weekenders (especially for shallow coves) need to get up here and crank in some cable if you haven’t been up for several weeks. The lake is on the move and as a bonus it looks like this weekend might hit 80 degrees.
